November 2024! 9/1—11/30/24

The Orviks are just on the tail end of 2024 now, but November was not without its amazing and awesome adventures! First, Grant plays at UA Band Day and earns a record score! Then he goes to his school's dance, where he has some fun! Grandma also is there to watch the amazing band performance. Then, at the weekend, the Orviks get in the car and head up to Chandler to watch Grant perform at the championship band level. His performance was absolutely incredible, and his band managed to get SECOND PLACE at champs! An incredible feat for sure, with a score of 78 too! Amazing work from these awesome people! Then, Grant is officially pronounced an Eagle Scout! Several friends are there, and family joined virtually. But Dan was able to show up in person for this wonderful achievement! Go to the "Grant Eagle" folder to see the ceremony along with excellent memories that were made along the way. Afterwards, Rusty goes to help Dan with moving into his new house up in Seattle. Then there is a relatively normal week of hanging out with cats and watching sunsets! And finally, the month comes to a close with Thanksgiving, a very small group this year but fun nonetheless! As cool as this month was, December will be even more amazing!
