August 2024 2024-08-01—09-01

The month of August came by and went, almost too quickly! But while that happened, there were lots of fun things to do! Rusty, and briefly Jordan meet up with Dan in Seattle for a quick gathering. Dan sees the Northern Lights from his plane! After this, Rusty and Dan meet up with Jay in California as they go on their annual Yosemite motorcycle adventure. In the meantime, Jordan heads back and picks up Smokey, his new ride which will take him to and from college this semester. After a month and a half of searching, it was finally time to bring home "the one". The month is barely started when Grant enters his junior year of high school! With classes and marching band, he sure is a busy man. After all of this, the family travels up to the Bay oncer more, this time for a very important celebration of Angie Call. Lots of people were at the event and she was well remembered by all. The family gives their remarks on experience with her. After this, the family goes and continues work on education. Jordan prepares for college. Against arguably better judgement (yes it's me writing this), he's going to commute to and from school this fall. But with Smokey to do it, it should be okay! Jordan also does various preparations for his work and gets to see some friends on campus. The family then celebrates Jen on her birthday, as they go to a very nice place downtown! Finally, the month concludes when Jordan begins his junior year of college. This summer was very busy and this month was nearly as busy, but we got through it very smoothly.
